VERNAL, Utah — V6 Media is proud to announce that its short film, Basin Bloodlines, was officially selected for the Cowpokes International Film Festival (CIFF), which took place April 10–12 in Electra, Texas, at the historic Grand Theatre. The festival celebrates excellence in Western storytelling and brings together filmmakers whose work reflects the spirit, heritage, and creativity of the genre.
In addition to being officially selected for the festival, Coby Coonradt, V6 Media’s Creative Team Supervisor, earned Best Director for a Short Documentary Film for his work on Basin Bloodlines, marking an exciting achievement for both the film and the V6 Media team.
Basin Bloodlines highlights a remarkable piece of Uintah Basin rodeo history, telling the story of three Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) world champions, all from Utah’s Uintah Basin. Rooted in the grit, heritage, and legacy of the American West, the film stood alongside other outstanding works celebrating Western life and storytelling.
“We’re incredibly proud of the recognition Basin Bloodlines received at CIFF,” said Coby Coonradt. “Having the film selected for the festival was an honor, and being recognized with Best Director made the experience even more exciting. This project means a great deal to our team and to the community that inspired it.”
